I have decided to put new shocks on my 2004 F150, 4.6l, 4x4, supercab, tow pkg.

Anyone replaced shocks on this or similar truck? Results?

I am thinking I will go with Blisteins unless someone has a better solution.

Problem is Blisteins has several different models. Suggestions on which to choose?

Thanks

Got mine at Shockwarehouse. There was 2.00 diff between them and tirerack. Looking forward to seeing how they ride / tow. Thanks again for input. TR

Bilsteins

Had them on my 2004 and 2005 GM trucks. Put them on my 2011 at 22,000 miles - OEMs were shot.

I have a 2011 f150 with 18000 miles and bought the bilsteins hd to help reduce the bounce with the longer trailer we just bought. they work awesome when the trailer is hooked up, but for everyday driving they seem pretty stiff. check out shockwarehouse.com. they have the best price.

I just ordered/received some Bilstein HDs for my truck and found TireRack actually had a better price than ShockWarehouse...they increased their prices $50 per set in the last week or so in the Bilstein HDs for the newer F150s...~$350 per set delivered as opposed to ~$330 a set delivered from TireRack.

I had Rancho RS9000 on my 99 F-150 and RS9000x on my 2003 F-150. I loved that I could tailor the ride to my driving style and towing/hauling vs. empty. I wish Rancho made some for my Suburban!

After reading reviews at f150 forum and other online I decided to go with Blistein HD shocks....pretty expensive but I think I will be pleased with them. Thanks for the input

I put Bilsteins on my last truck, Ram 1500 and loved them. It was a completely different truck when towing.

My new Ram 2500 only has 3100 miles. When I get up around 10k, I will be changing out all 4 OE shocks to Bilsteins.

I have had excellent results with the Monroe LT Sensa trac's on my 06 F-150 SCab. They come with a lifetime warranty and made the truck ride and tow like new. :C
