Winter tire recommendations

Any recommendations for winter tires and wheels for our 2019 Ram 3500 dually? We live an hour north of Montréal Quebec. Winter can get nasty.

I put a set of Nokian Rotiiva on my dually last winter and thought they did very good in the snow even empty .

PS they do have the snowflake symbol

It’s just a question of do you “really” want a true cold Winter tire or not. For sure, they are better in really cold temperatures, but they aren’t as good the rest of the time.

Otherwise, I think almost any M+S will be fine with a TC in the bed.

Any number of dedicated snow tires if you want winter tires only.
Or virtually any aggressive AT tire, siped, will be very good in all winter conditions.

Personal preference, siped mud terrain tires. Almost as good as dedicated snow tires on ice and better deep snow performance than snow tires.
Air pressure is just as important as the type of tire, and with a dually you virtually cannot run low enough air pressure in an empty truck, so 25-30psi in the rear and add as much weight as you need until she sticks to the road!
Stock size front dually pizza cutter tires generally do well in the snow, but again minimum required psi for the weight is the best traction.

Mine is a dually just like yours..I had almost new AT3's on it when I bought it and in my opinion,they were terrible on snow and ice..First trip up on the hill with the TC on got squirrly and I immediately came back and had Les Schwab's sipe them..What a difference,now there not to bad at all on snow and ice.

Mine are narrow(215/85/16) compared to other duallies and it does a great job on the snow/ice and 2WD..My next set of tires will most likely be Nokian..

I have been running the sailune terramax tires on my truck for the last two sets of rubber. they are a all season mountian snowflake rated tire and I have been very impressed with them.

I am 110% pleased with these Michelin Agilis CrossClimate LT-metric tires.
They are three peak rated tires.
