Would you winterize?

This weekend the weather is supposed to be 55 during the day on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday morning I am seeing a possibility of lows ranging from 30-33. We used the rv last weekend and just put it back in storage. I've thought about going and turning in the heat to the lowest setting, so it has the possibility to kick on. But if it only gets to 30, I don't know if it's worth it. What is the general consensus?

The way these weather patterns have been going, we will be worrying about the same thing in July .

I was discussing the very thing with my wife. We don't live far from you and it's supposed to hit 32 on Saturday night. I feel better after reading this thread.

I pulled my TT out 3 weeks ago for a trip and dewinterized it. We've had a couple of nights of 30F and no problems with the water freezing. I would on;y worry if have sustained mid/high-20's for several days. Otherwise don't loose any sleep.

Would not worry about it.

It's not just "going below freezing" that causes lines to freeze up... It's how far below, and for how long....

If you're losing sleep over it, why not just drain the supply side? The drains should be OK.

Water starts is still thawed at 32*F But needs to be at/below for many hours to fully freeze

No. Not at that temp. It would take a deep freeze mid 20's for a few days to do any possible damage. 30-33 isn't cold enough to freeze anything solid, especially with mid 50's during the day!
