Not really. On level ground, it doesn't take much to get a lot of weight rolling.

Now if they gave a 10sec 0-60 time, I would be impressed...or heck even climbing a 2% grade...but just getting it rolling on level ground isn't much of a test.

Not to be disagreeable, but I donโ€™t think so. The torque required to get 374,000 pounds sitting on rubber tires rolling even on level ground has got to be huge. Did you see the truck as it started to pull? Even a diesel locomotive has to grunt hard to get a long string of cars moving, and those are sitting on steel wheels and rails that are level.

Donโ€™t get me wrong, that truck wouldnโ€™t be able to pull a load like that up any kind of grade for very long. I was just impressed that it was able to get it started without the road being littered with tranny parts. Who knows, maybe it did and they just cut that part out. :W

Thatโ€™s more than two space shuttles. :C

Yeah Jim, I thought I was going to have to get all uppitty defending the F450 pickups. But, I think Iโ€™ll just let Chevy have this one. :W

So I lost track. Is that more or less weight than the Tundra pulling the space shuttle?

Iโ€™m not sure what towing a bunch of logs with a 70s Chevy pickup has to do with truck campers. Maybe itโ€™s an attempt at humor.

But, everyone knows that the F450 pickup bed truck with 19.5s is the ultimate TC truck. Seriously though, itโ€™s impossible to have the ultimate when people carry everything from popups to triple slides and everything from pavement to dirt, and that leaves out the ability to tow or not.
