And it might look tempting to try and use a standard hose clamp, speaking from experience, you will not get it to seal, it will leak. Either sharkbite or pex clamps (crimping tool needed) will seal the tube.
I found a 6' bungee cord, drilled 2 small holes in each end cap, and attached the bungee to each cap through the bumper, works great! I store my fire poker, pie maker and marshmallow sticks in my bumper.
