Extended stop at Mass. Turnpike service plaza?

Next week I'll be traveling west on the Massachusetts Turnpike and am looking for a place to park my TT for a while and get some rest, maybe overnight. I'm looking specifically at the service plaza at Lee. I'm interested in any comments, good or bad, about taking extended breaks at Mass. Turnpike facilities generally, specifically the one at Lee. Many thanks.

Just for INFO purposes... I once had to leave south Florida to RUN from an oncomming hurricane. I took the boat with us onto the Fl. Turnpike. The boat trailer got a flat an I used the spare. When I neededf to get gas at the next Plaza I asked if I could leave the boat there for a few days an continue on getting away from the storm. I didn't want to get another flat and have to leave the boat along the Hyway somewhere. They said it would be no problem. I returned 3 days later, after the storm passed, to get my boat, and was presented with a $50 bill for parking from the same lady! I don't use Turnpikes anymore.

In NY on I-87, we have stayed overnight at several service areas north and south of Newburg, usually arrive late at night and leave early.

Been using 84 since it was first paved, and DW wants to see some different scenery! She's also spooked by the Exit 2 rest area; very nice place to stop, but we where alone there one night last March and had a pan-handler come calling in the middle of the night. Bear spray was standing-by but not needed. I'd go there again, but not if no one else was there.

Why don't you take I84? There is a Pilot just after I90 and CT has a nice Rest Area near Danbury (Exit 2) where RVs are welcome. I think it's shorter too.

OP: Thank you all so much. Very helpful.
I'll be traveling from northern Vermont, mostly on I-91 to I-90, then west to I-87 and on down to Cape May NJ via the Garden State Parkway. Back in the day, I would go from Maine to Cape May with just a few pit stops, but I'm thinking now that a major rest stop with some shut-eye would be nice (and smart).
Any additional overnighting spots between Lee, Mass. and Newburgh, NY would be welcome.

There is a truck stop just after paying the toll on the Mass pike with a big parking lot it is in between NY and Mass . There is a lot of room and you could park there and stay all night....Been there done that.

The rest are @ Lee Mass is on the top of a hill and there is VERY little level ground at that rest stop.

Where are you headed after the Lee area?
NY thruway fairly relaxed about length of stay at rest stops.

Lee Premium Outlets is up a hill and the entrance is kind of narrow. Pladlin suggestions above would be much better.

Overnight stops are not allowed on any Massachusetts rest areas. If I remember correctly there is also a time limit as to how long you can stay. And they do enforce as I've witnessed it first hand and it's not pretty. I'd check to see if there's a Wal-Mart, Elks Club or something of that nature that may be able to accommodate you.
