We stayed at the KOA in Baddeck, which was clean and quiet. Used mostly for a home base while we toured the area by car.
We also stayed at the Hideaway Campground www.campingcapebreton.com
which had fresh oysters from the owners.
Another must see is the Bay of Fundy. We camped at Five Islands www.fiveislands.ca which you can watch the tide change from camp sites within 50 feet of the water.
Enjoy your trip, if time permits plan a side trip to Grande Pre in Nova Scotia, lot to see.

We have stayed at both campgrounds that you mentioned. Like them both!

At the KOA, we like the sites that back up to the river.

In Baddeck, make sure that you visit the Alexander Graham Bell Museum.

Depending on the size of your Class C, you might enjoy a side trip to Meat
Cove off the Cabot Trail. It is not suitable for larges rigs though. Also while on Cape Breton go to the Alexander Graham Bell museum in Baddeck.

We enjoy hiking and there are some great trails on C.B. - some short and longer options available. We drove our truck camper around the trail and spent several days doing it. There are lots of stops to make and things to enjoy if you have the time. There were several c.g. in the National Park, some with hookups, others not much more than a parking area - great drive!

We stayed at Piper's Trailer Park in Indian Brook - not the fanciest place, but by foregoing a sewer hookup, we could camp right on the oceanfront! The drive around Cape Breton Island is simply gorgeous!!

Looking for a small Class C!

Welcome to the forum, Jim. You'll get a better response to your question if you post it in the RV Parks, National Parks, State Campgrounds & More at this link.

The "Around the Campfire" is really for odd topics not directly related to RVing.
