If you stay at the KOA on Grand Island make sure you stay in the front section by the office. We stayed there but in the back by the freeway on the last row. If we had been any closer, we would've been on the freeway. It was very, very loud. We liked the campground, though.

When we visited Niagara Falls, we approached through Port Huron, MI and Sarna, Ontario and spent a delightful four days at 50 Point Conservation Area which was recommended by friends who live in Ontario.

50 Point

X2 50 Point It was a great place to stay. Has its own beach and full hookups. Wasn't that far to Toronto either. Very nice city and the CG is still fairly close to the falls.

When we went we could not get in the KOA very crowded. good I guess keeps them open and seemed to have stuff for the youngins. We stayed just about a mile or less on down the road at Camp Park. Country breakfast every day (in the barn). If the place is still there when we go back we will probably stay there again. We do intend on going back if we are allowed!!!. The Canadian side is amazing. Larry

We loved, loved, loved Branches of Niagara and it was awesome for families with zip-lining, crafts, swimming, kayaking etc... Follow the link below to a review that I wrote for our blog with lots of pictures. If you any questions please ask.

Everyone seems to like four mile creek, which looked promising until I saw it does not even have water and most do not have electric. Not for us, I will look into the branches of niagara.

There are 123 sites with 30 amp or more electric.
Sites are spacious and right on the lake. But the best part it is only 15 minutes from the Falls and Parking is free with your state park CG pass.
If you're not comfortable using your fresh tank I understand, however many posters recommended 4 mile creek for a reason

Hey Modern Family, I am a full hook up person, if there are no full hook ups, I look elsewhere. I like to hook up to water, shower as long as I want and not have to sit in line at a dump station.

X4 or 5 on Four Mile Creek State Park. We stayed there, large sites, good bathrooms & showers, right on the lake, 2 dump stations, and you get free parking at Niagra Falls (it's also a state park)

We stayed on the Canadian side as there is more to do and better views. We stayed at Lundy Ln KOA which was nice with plenty to do. The price has gone up a bit since we stayed plus the exchange rare is not good. Where ever you end up, enjoy.
