Fishing charters near Crystal River

I know there are charters run out of Yankee-town just north of Crystal River very successfully but havn`t tried it myself.

I just read the local paper yesterday and they had a full page report of what was being caught where, with what, and by what charter, at Cedar Key and Crystal River.

I was truly amazed at how good the fishing is in that area!!
The fishing report is in the paper everyday.

What surprised me is they are catching perch in a lake in Weirsdale go figure!

The fishing forecast appears in the Ocala Star Banner. Good info.
Here is the website, don't know if it appears on the web version of the real newspaper though. Ted Beck wa the name of the writer of the fishing report. Good Luck fishing!
