I'd get it myself but the border is shut and I really don't want to go to Florida at this time anyway.
When we left FL in the spring, we were going to leave our 5er but we left our cargo trailer on our site and brought home the 5er so we wouldn't have to stay in motels and eat in restaurants. Now the cargo trailer is sitting on our site attracting full rent.
Normally wouldn't matter but I don't think we'll be spending the winter in USA so I don't want to pay rent for a site I won't use.
As the subject says, are there services that will haul an individual's trailer 1500 miles and across the border. I know there are ones for RV manufacturers. Cost if they exist?
Yes, Horizon is the largest RV delivery company. Large TT's and 5ers get delivered one at a time from the factory, and these delivery guys deadhead back to pick up another one. A guy delivering a factory new unit from Elkhart to Florida would be happy to pick up a load coming back north. Not sure if you get anybody to bring it across the border but at least it will be closer.
Another option might be to post over in truck campers, somebody headed up north could bring your trailer.
Only you can decide...rent vs. pro hauling vs. you going to Florida to retrieve if allowed. PS - Donโt expect things to get better RE the Corona virus.
