I think that would be fine. If you are a bit adventurous and want to get to the bottom of the Little River falls go to the overlook and follow the unofficial trail downstream a short ways. It follows the edge of the canyon wall. You will see where folks have climbed down a rock face to get to the river. This was shot in early spring when the river flows are pretty high.
