I am looking to travel to Nashville and was looking for RV Resort suggestions to stay for a week. I will be looking for a Big Rig friendly part with all the amenities. I came across Nashville Shores Waterpark Resort as one spot. I will be with another family and 6 kids ranging in ages 18 to 10. Thanks

We just got back from Nashville and we stayed at Yogi. We do not have a big rig but there was a bunch of them there. They did have a section for larger campers but most were in the main area

When we go back we will stay at Yogi. Our experience with KOA Nashville was not good last July. The sites were tight and expensive. The add ons never ended and the park maintenance was poor. The grass at our site was at least five inches tall and there were holes hidden in the grass that we kept twisting our ankles in the hidden holes. The grass around our hook ups was at least a foot tall. Management really did not care.
The sites at Yogi appeared to be a little larger and the grass was cut. It is not fancy but at least is well kept.
Enjoy

We always stay at Seven Points Campground COE in Nashville, if we can get in. Great place, quiet, just no sewer. Lake, beach, water park, short drive into Nashville.

We stayed at the Nashville KOA when passing thru. If you have time go to dinner at "Old Hickory" in the Opryland Hotel, you might want to stay longer.

Would anyone have a suggestion for a place to stay for a one night layover?

Thanks.

We are not KOA fans but we stay at the Nashville KOA every year. They have big rig friendly sites, some open and some under trees. We are never there in the summer so I cannot comment on the activities available but I know they do have a pool. The Downtown Shuttle is very convenient but it is $10 per person round trip. There is lots of road construction in the Nashville area. The KOA, Two Rivers, and Jellystone are side by side just off Music Valley Drive. The Opryland Hotel and the Grand Oke Opry are nearby. Nashville is a great place to visit no matter where you decide to stay.

It does.

Jellystone is less crowded and a heck of light show for Halloween.

We stayed at the KOA. It is right next door to Two Rivers and both we're served by the same shuttle service, Very convenient! I don't remember if Jellystone also had shuttle service.

check www.rvparkreviews.com it says not big rig friendly and some not so great reviews. It's not near town. For children I would say Yogi Bear Jellystone or the KOA.
