Non Smoking Park

Do not want to stir up smokers rights rants. J & H RV Park has gone non smoking. For any one of us that are HYPER sensitive to tobacco smoke and have had to move sites because of neighbors sitting out smoking this is great news.

Have no problem with smokers at all just do not like the stinky smoke. Grew up with parents that smoked and loved them both, but did not like the smoke. Be honest with yourself cbshoestring. No idea why I need to sale my camping gear you can smoke all you want but keep it to yourself. As the old song says smoke smoke, smoke yourself to death. I try to avoid second hand smoke as much as possible one reason I stay out of casinos. Do not know of any medical research that claims second hand smoke not dangerous.

In places where pot is legalized, it's not legal to smoke it in public or many other places. It will be treated like alcohol. You can smoke cigarettes in your vehicle but you cant smoke pot in it.

Thank you for calling me a liar. Yes, I can smell cigarette smoke from a good distance. If I'm around you when I get exposed to too much of it make sure you keep your pockets open so I have a place to hurl, not to mention a quick ride to the ER if it causes my asthma to kick in. I do my best to keep myself out of all smoke. Sorry, but it's community life and just like light pollution when your cancer-causing, air polluting habit starts invading my space there's a problem. Some of you who support smokers are the same ones who whine about kids who are noisy, someone starting a diesel up at 5 a.m. or someone else's music drifting into your site.

My, my my aren't we the judgmental one. Another one calling anti-smokers liars. Pitiful. I have NOTHING against smokers at all. Having just weaned myself off of an anti-anxiety med I fully understand the properties of the body being addicted to a substance. It's not easy and until you decide you want to quit, you can't.

Since when does one group have more rights than another. Your "rights" end where my campsite begins. Period.

Will I think all parks should ban smoking and I wish more would be dog free also. Hate the folks that let the dog yap at everyone who walks past and seem to think the yappy things are cute and we all enjoy hearing them. Cigarette smoke is stinky and nothing ruins a nice evening like a bunch of smokers upwind from you. I support your right to smoke but not to endanger others with second hand smoke.

Campground full of campfire smoke, grill smoke, generator smoke...and some "sensitive" person is offended by the guy sitting around his fire with a smoke???

You may be offended by the smoker, but not the smoke itself. There is absolutely no way your precious nose can pick out the tobacco smoke over the other obnoxios smoke wafing through out the camp ground.

Now BACON is offensive. It is simply not fair to allow your BACON smell to linger about the campground....should be outlawed... unless you plan to share. :B

I don't smoke neither does my wife. We would not stay at that park. They are free to make their own rules. As long a smoking is legal then it is one of the freedoms I fought for.

I don't smoke anymore, but banning cigarettes from a place where there are campfires is just plain stupid and another form of bullying. If smoke bothers you, stay away from it. Seal up your house, put in filters and stay home.

I no longer smoke a pipe, but I wouldn't go to a park with this rule. I don't like the type of people these places tend to attract.
