We booked 5days 4 nights in late September at Up The Creek in Pigion Forge Tn. I know it’s a little late now but is this place any good? What’s your favorite place in th Smoky mountain area?

We have stayed at Twin Creeks RV in Gatlinburg...just a couple miles from town. Nice park, creeks running alongside and back...and the trolley to Gatlinburg and other nearby places has a stop right in front of the park.

We have also stayed at StoneBridge RV in nearby Maggie Valley.

We had the stonehouse pizza last year while we were there, very good. This year we had big daddy’s pizza, very good also.

Just a heads up for the area, it's busy season. Trees are starting to change colors and traffic is heavy. We've had family down and we spent tthe last 2 days in G'burg and PF. Bring your patience. Tried to eat at the Old Mill Restaurant and it was a 2 hour wait at 6 PM. Other restaurants on the strip were just as busy.

The good thing about Up The Creek is that it's out there a little but close enough to Pigeon Forge. We haven't stayed there but we kinda "toured" it and will stay there next time.

That is why I said in an earlier post we went back four years in a row. I have looked at other cg's in the area but that one suits us 100% in all areas.

Did you try a Stonehouse pizza while you were there. That is the little pizza place in front of the elementary school.

We got back Sunday from up the creek rv park and loved it. We’ve already decided that it’s the only place we will stay there.

I was just there for 2 weeks. Like he says not to many masks. We stayed at River Bend but spent a lot of time in Knoxville where they were wearing masks. Ate at the Pottery and Huck Fins in Pigeon Forge that I remember with good social distancing. Knoxville was dead as a tomb as far as people. We been getting out a good bit to the mountains, week here and a week there. May head up to WV next.

We live in the area. Be aware that Sevier County continues to have a significant COVID problem. Many visitors are not wearing masks or social distancing. Great Smoky Mt NP is large enough you can enjoy and be safe. Start early and go to less popular destinations.

We enjoyed it so much we went back four years in a row. It is a great cg. They do not have a pool nor bath houses BUT because of that it is one quiet cg.

Some friends of mine have a motor home and stayed there while they were looking for a cabin in the area. They said it was a great place and convenient to everything Pigeon Forge had to offer, along with a trolley stop right in the CG.

A friend of mine stayed at Up the Creek last year and he says it's now one of his favorite campgrounds. Seems quiet and secluded for PF, yet the trolley comes right into the campground. One thing to be aware of...I don't think it has bath houses, so you'll have to use your own facilities. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
