Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

**A photo width of 500 works really well.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

Here's my site @ Douthat State Park, Va. I was in the White Oak loop... can't recall the site #. I had a blast and am looking forward to another trip this fall.

Dee, they didn't post - at least for me. You may need to have your pictures hosted on another website; photobucket works for many of us.

Chain o' Lakes SP, IL - Honeysuckle Hollow CG, site #22. Just got back this afternoon. Chilly (40s & low 50s) both days, with rain the first day. Nice time to just hang out inside the trailer! ๐Ÿ™‚

Camping April 4,5 & 6th at Alder Lake State Park. Still froze at night but beautiful during the day. This park is beautiful, close and well maintained. While staying there the last two times we got to know the campground hosts real well, they were from Texas, boy were they not used to the cold weather! What a life! I cant wait to full time RV someday.

Deer just roaming the CG!

Mt. Rainier from the shores of Alder Lake!

Silly Dogs swimming in the lake in April! It was still freezing out!

Mill Creek Ranch RV Park and Cottage Resort, Canton Texas, nice nice place, lots of little ponds and streams, and green grass and trees, small ones on the lots. A lot of pull throughs, with plenty of space, and each one has a little fire pit, and some free wood to get you started.

Looks like a great place. My Step Daughter live in Canton, Tx. I hear that place really fills up around the first of the month for "First Monday"

It is by far my favorite camping/hiking place. Everyong should try and see it at least once. There is so much to see. This was my first trip in the spring. Now that we have the MH and my son is old enough, we plan on going every couple of months. Of course, during the summer I'll have to fight for a 1st come-1st served site outside the valley.

Just a word of warning to the "flatlanders" (like me). The guidebook says there are "chains and rails" on the difficult parts of the trails. What they don't say is that the chains are 6" high on on the UPHILL side of the trail!!! I never did make it to Angles' Landing ๐Ÿ˜ž

Mine was 13'2 before I had the MorRyde suspension adjusted. I barely cleared a 13'-5" bridge in Chicago last summer.
