Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

**A photo width of 500 works really well.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

we loved that place. we stayed there when we went to the NASCAR race in Martinsville. We definitely want to go back on a non race weekend to enjoy it more.
Check out Recreation.gov, it can be hard to get reservations, especially on weekends, they stay pretty well booked up, we made reservations in December, for the end of May & still could only get 4 days in one site, but of course the water front sites go first & fast.

Hey kk,

thats our toyhauler lol! We were a bit close werent we lol...and YES if someone had been in front of us we would have been in trouble getting out! Although small, it was a nice quiet campground and the dog loved the play area.

Go to Longwood all the time, in fact will probably be there in 2 weeks. The best time to camp there is after November. Was at Goose Point last year...site 10, a great campground but sometimes hard to get a site in Section "C" near the water. My sig picture is at site # 10.

This is the last site on the road out. Many pull thru sites w/ water and electric that will handle 30-40ft units..

This shows the exit road with sites on both sides

We had a great 18 night vacation to the Black Hills of South Dakota, On our way back we were on the interstate for less than 50 miles. We once again fell in love with our beautiful country.
