Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

Camped during the 4th of July week at Benton Lake in Manistee National forest south of Baldwin Michigan. Lot 16 with paved roads and spurs. Pit toilets and solar powered pressure water system. Awesome time!!!
Great fishing and QUIET!!!







I used the solar panels and my solar water heater. Had hot showers with solar!!!

Took the DW, the DIL and SIL and their two offspring (1 yr & 6 yr) down to the Big Timber Lake CG outside of Cape May, NJ over the weekend. It was the 6-year old's choice for a birthday gift. The Bounder performed well enough, of course the electric step didn't work until we got home again, but other than that it was fine. Rained about 2 hours Friday night, thank goodness for Awnings.

Rocky Mountain National Park - Moraine Campground

Spent 7 days here over July 4th

Here's our site, #62, at Fallen Leaf Lake CG, Lake Tahoe.



Still a lot of snow up there. Heck, they were still skiing at Squaw Valley!!

4th of July at Old Hwy 25 campground, site G14, on Greers Ferry Lake in Ar. There are stills hundreds of sites that are flooded around the lake due to flood control, but all of theses sites in the G section are open. All sites are large, spread out from each other with lots of trees, many on the water and each is cleaned up in between each use.

Went camping again over the 4th of July at one of our favorite campgrounds: Mountain Park CG located inside the Roosevelt Nat'l. Forest, CO:

Camp Driveway, Minerva, NY, July 4th weekend. No holiday fees, busy campgrounds or noise. Can't beat a free holiday weekend with water and electric hookups! And NO traffic for the 4 hour ride home, was anyone else on the Northway or Thruway?

I believe it was site 2 but most of the sites are on the lake in a circle.
