Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

**A photo width of 500 works really well.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

THANKS FOR THE VIEW!
We are booked in #65 in July.

How was backing in from the blind side at the awkward intersection?

Backing in wasn't bad at all. The trees are far enough apart, so you should not have any problem. The hardest part is lining up parallel to the cement slab and getting close enough to it. Have fun, it is a nice place.

Thanks for the haste reply.
We stayed last Labor Day in site 41 or 42 (See profile pic)...Propane tank & pool behind us - Drainage ditch next to us. GUSHED during storm!

Site F5, Full Hookups

Well manicured place, friendly staff. Good proportion of fulltimers, ours neighbors were a little on the unsociable side.

We liked Harmonie SP, kids loved the playground at Murphy Park. We crossed the old bridge just for fun, read in the paper they closed it last week. Too bad, but apparently it was in really poor condition.

We're about an hour north of there.

We haven't stayed at Harmonie State Park in years. I stayed at the city park, Murphy Park, in New Harmony last fall. We only live 45 mins. from there. I love to walk the streets and look at the historic homes, and visit the downtown area.

Unicoi State Park in Georgia.

Got spot #28 on the Big Brook Spur (full hookup) right next to the camp host in spot #29. Good spot -- plenty shady, nice and level, good fire pit and grill, decent amount of privacy. The road itself has a slight slope down and can be a bit tight for bigger rigs. Comfort station was clean and convenient.

The Big Brook Spur had a decent amount of traffic up and down it. It might have just been the car show in nearby Helen and people cruising the park, but it was somewhat noisy and busy -- more than I would have preferred but not a show stopper by any means.

Would definitely go back. Scenery was just beautiful. Mountains, lakes, streams, TONS of trees. Bet it is awesome in the fall w/ the foliage.

Pic of the playground at the end of Big Brook Spur on the way to the lake.
