Three campgrounds in the park are available. Moraine Park at 8160 feet is the most popular, and all sites are reservable for the summer season. Glacier Basin at 8500 feet is also popular; A,B, and D loops are all reservable, C loop is first come/first served. Aspenglen at 8200 feet also is reservable; it also has specific loops with restrictions (tents only, generators allowed/not allowed).
Timing is everything! If you're looking to reserve for early in the season, weather could be a factor in the opening of the campgrounds. I was up in Moraine Park several weeks back, and only B loop was open, the remaining loops still in winter conditions. And this was BEFORE the recent rain/snow we've had here. No indication yet that the campgrounds are fully open for the season.
Here's some information that you may find useful in planning your trip. If at all possible, later in the season would be recommended, as the snow will be gone not just from the campgrounds, but from the areas around for hiking.

If you can get a spot - take it. I don't think you can go too wrong. Try Moraine park CG and go from there. What kind of camping will you be doing?
