In October I need to find a place where I can park for one day and an overnight near I15 in St George. Does Camping World in St George allow that? I understand that Walmart does not. Any other suggestions welcome. Thank you.

You can camp at sand hollow state park. Has full hookups if you decide you need AC.

Regarding temperatures in St. George: I believe St. George has the highest average annual temperatures in all of Utah's towns/cities, so that area is Utah's "hot spot".

St. George is great for Utah winters ... but not so great for Utah summers.

Pay attention to the heat of the day and parking with your dog in your coach. St George is a bad place with the heat to leave your dog unattended without AC running, even in October. It's desert, all it takes is a high pressure system anchored over LV and St George and triple digit temps are possible during the day. Don't underestimate the Desert South West.

When we went through there and stopped for a widget, the camping world parking lot was smaller than we would have expected so don't count on that.

Saint George has a great Elks lodge with an RV area for members. Hook ups, but no sewers, has a dump station too. Great view from the lodge. Just at the north end of town.
If you receive help from other members, don't forget to update your topic with the results.

What type of RV do you have? By stating a Coach, are you referring to a large motorhome?

I stop over in St George often and stealth camp. There are so many places to mnt bike, hike and ride motorcycles in and around the area, it begs to be stopped at and explored. The local Police Dept has talked to me often, always friendly and helpful, but have never talked to me about my stealth camping, even when they used me as a distraction to violators, while they worked a location for a stop sign violations, nearby.

I am taking a one day (all day) class near the riverside parkway exit off I15. I have a dog that I will leave in the coach while I am in class. I need to check on her during the day without missing too much of the class.

The CasaBlanca Casino in Mesquite has overnight parking if you can't find a spot in St. George.
The casino offers an RV Park but also allows RVs and big rigs to boondock in one of their parking lots on the west side.

Do you want a camp ground or rv park?
as far as rv park there is temple view rv park that is not to far from freeway exits.close to all amenities. just a bit further south there is a place called cedar pocket just of the freeway. no utilities or anything else.
