Congratulations to your dear wife on her retirement. Bluewater is a great place to start! Such a beautiful spot. We are looking forward to getting back there next spring.
As mentioned previously, you are heading right into the heart of hurricane season. Pay close attention to the forecasts and be prepared to move out quickly.
Be sure to go to Square Grouper when you get a chance. Best of luck!

We are huge fans of the Keys. Been there numerous times. I know she will love retirement too. We have been retired almost 5 years from our own business and not regretted selling it one bit. If you want to try something on the way or the way back, try going on the "Sound Road" and stop at "Alabama Jacks". It has been there for years and kind of a biker bar, but open air and just a fun place. Several famous people have been there and written about it. We always get the "dinner" size conch fritter. Absolutely delicious to split. Music on the weekends too. We visit Key West but stay at Knights Key in Marathon by the 7 Mile Bridge. Sadly, it will be developed into a resort in 2017. A great place to eat is right there by the Bridge, called Sunset Bar and Grill. In Key West, we love Mangia Mangia. Great if you love garlic. Have a great time. We plan on being there mid January to mid February God willing.
