Where in Arizona in the winter?

Would appreciate your input on nice RV parks or resorts to do next winter. My preferences are:
Phoenix or Tucson area preferred, but not mandatory.
I want to be near shopping, attractions, entertainment etc.
Nice clean place with activities, pool, and fitness center.
I like paved roads, landscaping, palm trees, etc.
All this for $400 or less per month.
Okay, how about the neighborhood of $600, is it possible?

Love Desert Trails. The people there are so nice. The staff is great. The entertainment that comes to this park is good. Plus two nights a week they have food trucks that come in and set up for dinners. Some of these have been on the Food Channel. It was awesome. Haven't seen it anywhere else. Hoping to get to spend some more time there next winter.

We spent 5 winters there, but I am going through the Yacht Club chairs right now, so will return Mid December 2015.

X2 ..... Not too many palm trees, but everything else you are looking for. Nestled at the foot of the Superstition mountain far enough outside the big city (Mesa/Apache Junction) to be out of the traffic and congestion, but close enough for shopping and restaurants, etc. Check out the residents Website at www.mycanyonvista.com

We stay at "Voyager" in Tucson. It's one of the best parks we've ever been in. Tucson is great in the winter. We have 3 pools, 2 whirl pools, pickle ball, hiking, great bike trails, & a view of the mountains. We also liked "Valle Del Oro" in Mesa, but Mesa was a little too busy for us. Both parks come out to about $650 a month with deals if you stay for 3 or 4 months. The deals will be going on now.

Look at Fiesta Grande in Casa Grande, AZ. Meets all your requirements.

Walking distance less than one mile to all shopping. Groceries, restaurants, home improvement, clothing, haircuts, chain pharmacies etc.

Near Benson AZ is the Escapee's park in Benson, and it is fairly low cost to stay there. Nearby places to visit are the Tucson air museum, Tombstone, and other great places to see. West of Tucson is the Saguaro National Park.

The Escapees also have a park in Casa Grande. If you spend a couple of weeks at one, then you can go visit the other.

Other low cost places to stay would be Quartzsite. You would probably need to invest a few hundred dollars, then be able to dry camp for weeks at a time with the proper solar system and larger fresh water tank.

You can buy 7.5 gallon blue water tanks at Wal Mart, and fill them while out sightseeing. Then I would hang them from a tie down strap from my ladder and use a siphon to refill my 100 gallon fresh water tank.

You can ask for dry camping tips, and you will get plenty of advice.
