Might look at The West Entrance WebCam - will Help in Planning Looks like you need to get up early just to get in the Park.

Weather looks great - Hope everyone spreads out and has a GREAT DAY.

1stgenfarmboy, something strange here or something happened very quickly. We went thru the pre-paid at 8:45 AM on the 19th and waited for a few vehicles in front of us and we were gone on our days travel. Biggest wait I saw was at the Running Bear Pancake joint when we came down the street! Maybe the syrup was pouring slowly.

We went in May,2016. We used the west, north and south entrances and never waited. That's why we go in the spring and fall.

If these folks would get out of Running Bear Pancake House and McDonalds earlier, the long lines that they complain about aren't there. Just MHO! I just went to the web cam and it was timed at 9:29n AM. About 8 vehicles in the prepaid line and that is it. There all sucking up coffee at the previous mentioned places.

We were at Yellowstone last week. Came up through Tetons on a Tuesday around 10, and it probably took 20 + minutes to get in the park.

Way busier than it was our last visit. Next time we visit it will be either before or after school gets out.

The pic may reinforce our reasoning not to have YS high on our list to visit right now.

We always went in that entrance around 7 AM. Zero delays.

What worries me is you can't see the tail end of the line, does it extend back half a mile or 5 miles
