Dining Area To Bar Area

When we entertained inside the RV, we wanted to have an area that looks more like a bar. So we came up with this before and after picture.

I simply purchased two bar stools from a local store and took them off the stand and connected the table coupler on the back of them. Now it is a quick snap to remove table and put bar tops in place. I just keep the table overhead the cab when not is use.

Never work for us. We play cards and board games with friends. I would be constantly picking the dice up off the floor (and probably spill my beer).

Round it on both ends like the ones there now and it would be a winner. You can get butcher block counter top in lots of sizes. Just cut it for what you want, finish, and viola.

It was really made to hold a few drinks. Normally, 4 people can sit here without knocking on each other and with 2 drinks per table, it works out pretty fine. It just becomes a little problem when snacks are presented. Then we have to hold them in our hands. I may do as "TMBLSN" stated and try to find a smaller table that will fit across both stands.

I can understand the desire for a smaller table.

However, you aren't going to fit between those tables, at least not without knocking everything off of them.

Why not connect them? It would be much sturdier and you'd have room for a few more drinks and/or snacks.

It looks like there is more people space than beverage space per person. Cool idea though, I can see a need for that.

It's missing something very important! Where is the bottle of beer on each table to prove they are sturdy enough for their intended use?

Bob, I used the same brackets that are mounted on the floor. I may go back and take another picture with a few glasses of wine and spirit on it..
