Hints for state map

Where do you put them? Are the stick-on kind able to stand up to weather if on an outside door or other surface?

We bought a glass picture frame. Put the map on the glass. We add states as needed.

When underway, we just put the picture frame under the bed covering. When camping we hang it on an interior wall. Or we can hang it on the inside of exterior door. When the door is open during nice weather it can be seen by passersby.

We use a small freeware program on our laptop to generate a jpg map of states that we have "camped" and keep the generated map on the laptop. When we stay in a state that we've not "camped" in before, that state is then added to the existing map on our laptop.

A million dollar idea...some sort of gunk to remove stick on items.;)

Attached ours to the inside main door when weather is nice it can be seen when the door is open. Pertected some when the weather is bad.

Ours were on the outside side walls of the trailers, and they stuck better than glue! Some of the colors (blue mostly) were subject to sun fade, and over time, some corners of the states peeled up, but for the most part they lasted at least 6 years.

I'd put it on a separate board. The map on the camper shows how much use/abuse it had and is not, in my opinion, a plus when it is time to sell.

we placed our US state map on the lower inside of the door. I have seen the state maps on the outer wall of the slide out, and the all sides of the exterior of the rig.
