Kitchen faucet

A real quick question - and probably quicker answer (Y/N).

Can a Home Depot kitchen faucet work in a motorhome? Just wondering before going out and measuring. Wife wants one with a spray arm that can be pulled out.

"THAT IS ALL"

Thanks

Dave

I hate anything that has to do with plumbing. It requires at least three trips to the hardware store, many cuss words and at least two leak fixes.

Did the one in the 21' Outback in our signature last summer. The factory one was a cheap piece of crap. Everything mated up perfectly. Made the mistake of not marking hot and cold and got it backwards and also didn't tighten one fitting which caused a minor leaks. Total time including my screw up was about 1 hour.

Just did the one in the MH in my signature. Kitchen faucet was a leaking piece of junk. Bought a nice kitchen faucet at Home Depot. Piece of cake to install. Didn't even look at the instructions. I did have to buy a couple of 6" braided hoses because existing plumbing had been cut to fit. Also had to buy a couple of adapters to make everything mate up. Pressurized the system and nothing leaked!

I still hate plumbing!

I bought Moen faucets for both the kitchen and bathroom.
They were drop-in replacements in my case except for the kitchen faucet with the pull out sprayer.

The hole for the hot and cold lines to the faucet was not large enough to accommodate the line for the spray head. I could see where Winnebago had pulled a plug in the sink mold that would have provided a hole for the spray line so I used a hole saw to cut that part of the sink edge out. After that it was easy to connect everything.

There's nothing magical about RV faucets except they're the cheapest pieces of junk on the face of the earth. Follow the advice above.

Replaced mine years ago. It did require some adapters to make the plumbing fit.

Yes, just measure the distance between the hot and cold faucets. It should be 8".

Yes but the connections to the water lines may require some adapters. For more information search this Forum for `kitchen faucet' and read on.
