cost of replacing rubber roof on 35 foot fiver?

had camping world look at roof after wife following me down interstate noticed the roof ballooning. they said there was a big rip in it and it could not be repaired but had to be replaced. it is a 2011 big country and have not had any real problems. would like to get couple more years off use. has anyone had a similar length roof replaced recently?

My rubber roof did the same thing. The glue failed they said due to the Florida heat. Had the flex armor roof applied and could not be happier.
It is tough as nails, one piece (no more seams to caulk), whiter than white, and has a life time guarantee. More over, the cost was about the same as a new rubber roof. In my opinion, the Dow Chemicals poly urea coating, is a big improvement over the rubber roof. The down side is the fact that they have a very limited number of installing dealers, so you may have to travel a ways to get it done. It can only be applied indoors and may take up to 3 days to complete so add the cost of a motel to the price. If you decide to go that way you won't be disappointed in your forever roof.

We had the roof and awning replaced on our 36 foot North Ridge 322RLT fiver back in 2013. The job cost about $8,000, and was paid for (minus deductible) by the insurance company.

It was 11K last spring to replace the EPDM roof on our 2001 35RK Alpenlite. This included a small amount of rot repair.

Check out Flex Armor, See what they can do for you. Had mine done at Green Cove Springs, Fl. beautiful job. Had 31ft. of roof, just a little under 5k

I would second the paint on roof over rubber or a version of that. I've seen them done in a couple of days at a rally. Far superior.

Even with a material failure the 12 year roof warranty is worthless. I was quoted $250.00 total compensation for a failed roof membrane that was 5 years old.

I vote for RV Flex Armor as was mentioned in a previous post. I had mine done 18 months ago and it was the best investment I could have ever made for my RIG and about the same price as a new rubber roof, bt I have zero caulking to worry about now.

Fix it yourself with some tape and trade it in at Camping World. Let THEM use their "expertise" to value and evaluate your trailer; don't help them (they won't help YOU). They're too lazy to even look at the roof. Cut your losses now and get out from under it.

I would contact my delivering dealer, I would request a inspection, on my 35ft Jayco which was 5 years old, we had a roof failure due to a poor installation of the front tie down molding, I declined to let the dealer replace the roof. I took the unit directly to Jayco, they replaced the roof at No Cost---Good Luck.

Figure an hour per foot of roof length, if you have solar panels or a satellite, add time accordingly, probably another couple hours each. I would consider calling your insurance carrier, that's what they are there for.

I had a 33 footer that had storm damage requiring a complete roof replacement a couple years ago. The process included removing everything mounted on the roof, stripping and replacing the roof covering, then remounting all the equipment. My insurance company worked with directly with my dealer on the cost and ended up cutting a check for $6,000.00
