Goodyear will pay for damage provided:
You retain tire carcass
You notify GY and OPEN a claim
They will set up pickup/delivery of tire carcass
And THEN after they have inspected and THEY have determined tire was defective they will pay for damage
No tire carcass.no claim......no payment
They determine tire was not faulty ----no payment
They also had virtually NO competition when it came to 16" 'G' rated tires
Now they do in the Sailun S637s and at a much better price.

We have 18,000 miles on our fiver tires since purchase. Unfortunately, we were given new 2 year old tires without knowing it in July 2014. The tire date is week 39 2012. We have previously read to replace tires at 5 years regardless of use. In your opinion, or based on your experience, how soon should we be replacing these tires. Thanks!

The reason G614 are expensive is they cover damage to the trailer from a blow out. They are great tires as well. If you don't want the damage covered buy the Sailuns they are great as well.

Oooh, I think that could have been phrased better. ๐
