That price is a bit high. I wouldn't pay more that $6k for that.

A decent TH around this Part of Texas start around 10K and go up. Anything 7-8K here would be a fixer upper at best. Metal sided trailers will a lot of times rival fiberglass sided is resale prices because of lighter weight and more are in the 1/2 ton towable range which there is a big demand for. A nice light 1/2T towable toy hauler priced reasonable will sell very quickly here. For the best deals buy in the winter when people aren't using them as much and are looking to upgrade. That trailer looks decent for its age price is on the upper end for age. Pics can be deceiving though.

For it being a 2003 and having metal sides vs the fiberglass I would say they are asking too much as well unless there is a premium for them there. In this area around Las Vegas that set up would go for $7-8,500. With the age check the roof closely, check for any frame damage, cracks around axles, the awning may be sun rotted.

Prices are very much regional based

Pretty wild conjectures here. My roof can get really dirty in two weeks, just sitting in the driveway. The person has not yet emptied the trailer of his/her belongings; maybe they plan on using it if it doesn't sell immediately. Dusty? It's a toy hauler; I would expect dust, sand, dirt - it's almost impossible to get out of every nook and cranny; even after multiple cleanings.

There are some valid points. How many hours on the generator? From afar the graphics look in decent shape, although the outside looks dirty. Take a close look at the roof, especially the sealant. The carpet roll looks like it has oil stains. Check the top of the awning for signs of aging, cracking.

Use the Nada guide for pricing. Use the lowest price with no added on options, that's what the dealers use on trade-ins. Where we live almost all used trailers sell for above Nada.

We just bought a 2006 Rage'n. I spent the last 4 weekends working on it. Scraped all sealer off the roof and resealed with new lap sealant. New silicone along top of all marker lights. New fuel hose and nozzle. New fuel pump, filter and 25' of gasoline line as well as oil and filter change for the generator. Polished and waxed the whole exterior. Thorough cleaning of black tank - sensors work again. Adjusted the brakes. Packed wheel bearings. Will put new tires on it in the next few weeks. Will change out batteries and add solar in the next year. It's used so it's a lot of work when you first get it. However, the maintenance is normal maintenance on any RV.

BigBlockTank has some good points. I'd say there is Option C too - Repo. Something about that unit makes me wonder if it's a Repo. You don't find many units that are furnished, in fact it seems a tad bit creepy to buy a unit with other people's stuff already in it.

The trailer doesn't look abused but well used. It does need a good cleaning as it looks like it was used in really dusty conditions. They don't list how many hours are on the generator, but from the looks of it, it has been ran in very dusty conditions.

Not a bad looking trailer if you can get it for the right price.

Best of luck!

It says "flawlessly maintianed", I gotta throw up the BS flag. The roof looks dirty as a 2010 or older. Check it over.

I worked in the RV industry as a coach tech for almost 10 years after I retired from the military. There are only two resons to get rid of any RV. One, to upgrade, the best kind to buy. Second, something is wrong and they don't want to pay to fix it. The worst kind to buy. A little money up front for an inspection could save a ton in the future. Or ask them to pay for it, if they want to sell it......

From the pics it looks like a nice unit for the price. Look it over good, check around the ramp door for water damage as the tile looks off in the pic. I like how the add says 100 gal fresh water, enough for 2 or 3 days. 100 gal of water is enough for 2 weeks.

Ok, thanks!! I will tell dh about that. LOL on the water.

2015 Eclipse Iconic Toy Hauler made by Eclipse Manufacturing which is a pile of junk. If you want to know more just ask and I'll tell you about cracked frames, loose tin, walls falling off, bad holding tanks and very poor customer service.
