Tow vehicle tires

It's time for a new set of tires and come to find out GOOD/YEAR has discontinued my favorite style the Silent Armor. This has been a good all around tires for me and has given 50K+ miles.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a new AT tire.

I'm running Nitto Terra Grapplers and am really happy with them. I only have about 12,000 miles on them, so I can't say about longevity. They are a good all around tire..

I too had liked the Goodyear silent armor...so I took a bit of a chance and went with the Goodyear Wrangler AT Adventure right when they came out in the fall. Have not towed yet, but it is quiet on highways and fantastic on snow and ice. I fully expect it to be a great tire....and Paul Clancy is correct dual kevlar e rated.

I believe the silent armour has been replaced with the goodyear adventurer at which has dual Kevlar in the E rated pro version. Has been Very well reviewed and will be my next tire.

I bought my 98 in 01 with 50K and it had 380K on it at the end of 11 so I let no moss grow under my tires.

Been running Michelin LTX A/T2 on my 3500 SRW since I got rid of the OEM highway thread tires.

Towing FT.....get 60K
Been a good tire.....wet grass, wet roads, dirt roads etc. They do hold onto gravel in thread.

Run 55# front all the time.......45# rear non towing and 80# towing and I don't rotate.

Is it time for your medication or mine?

I have no reason to lie. 380K on my 98 2500 4x4. Probably 20K towing and the rest commuting 35-85 miles each way on each set. Also in the NW where the temps are moderate and I garaged.

First set was Michelins from Costco and the next two were 3rd gen BFG's.

I properly inflate the tires. Most people run too much air in the rears and too little in the fronts.

I run 72 in front and 45 rear solo with the 98 2500. Would bump the rears to 80 when towing.

Yes, just noticed that...Then it does seem possible. Given that, I have to rethink my post above questing the claim.

Really?
Anyway, We have Michelin LTX M/S2's on our truck now. They have been excellent towing and daily driver...but I seriously doubt they will go, "100K+"

I just replaced my original equipment Michelins at 38K with BFG commercial TAs. They look good and rode good on the trip home from the tire shop, we'll see.
