We're Expecting!!!

Sent the deposit to RVDirect today. Waiting on a 2015 Jayco Eagle 30.5 BHLT. The day the kids get out of school we'll leave to go pick it up. We thought the kids would be sad when we sold our trailer last week, but when our son was asked that by the buyers, he said "No way, we're getting a new one!" Don't know who's more excited, me or him.

Very good point! I think they will stay at the hotel and play in the pool while I pick up the trailer. This will be the third trailer we've owned, so I know you're right about not wanting the distractions. Thanks!

Congrats! Jayco's done a nice job with their bunkhouse models to address the rainy day effect of being inside. The loft for storing, playing or napping look like it will be nice. We had a 365BHS with the max store door on the sides and found them very handy for loading up stuff that wouldn't pack well.

I wish you well on this venture. Just a little concern: Are you planning on taking the whole family for your PDI trip? My experiences have been that the PDI takes many hours, you better ask questions, take pictures/movies, make lists and do NOT be distracted.

LOL - I know I just retired, but I'm not so old that I have to go to bed at 8:40pm!!! I'm in Tucson. Mountain time, with no daylight savings time.

But yep, we're very excited. We're taking a shakedown trip next week. Then a little longer trip in April. Finally, in June, we're going to put about 10,000 miles on it!
