What do you wax your rig with?

After waxing about 9 or 10 square feet with paste wax, I'm guessing there has to be a better/easier way? Maybe some of the wipe on - wipe off waxes? Ideally, I'd like something with some sort of cleaner agent in it. I've washed but that doesn't get everything. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks...

Rejex... Not a wax but a polymer coating (IIRC). Bugs rinse off the front after a trip. Looks great and goes on easily. Just follow the directions.

The best I have found so far is 3 M Restorer & Wax available from Amazon. Goes on easy and comes off easy.

Any of the Meguire's products work well for me. Currently I'm using either the Marine version or their NXT. Nu-Finish does well but don't think it lasts quite as long. With that said, almost any of the products that have been around a while will do fine - Turtle Wax, Blue Coral, Simonize, etc, etc, etc. The wash and wax products really don't have enough protectant in them to make much of an impact and to shine well. Floor waxes some use - IMO, should be left for floors, not a multi thousand dollar RV.

Just a note - polish is just that, and makes it look good wax is a protector and most good ones also look make a vehicle look good. Wax, polish and a sealer are supposed to be 'the way' to a perfect finish but I have more to do in my life then make a 38 foot (~1000 sq ft of waxable surface) 5er look as shiny as my 'Sunday' car.

I agree On the Maguire Premium marine wax. It's made for fiberglass, most other waxes are made for painted surfaces.

I am a bit confused though...."we apply it on each person year"
Does each person get a waxing each year ? What is a "person year"
Just wondering. :?

While Meguiar's Cleaner Wax is good stuff- I use it myself- it's not for waxing the whole RV. It's for touch-up. In my opinion anyway. There's no getting around it- Meguiar's paste wax is the only real way to wax your RV. Totally labor intensive, but it's a real wax job.

X2, I just did the RAM today and two weeks ago I had a three "session" with the Suites. It's an ugly job but somebody has to do it. :B

NuFinish is all I've used for a few years now, I love that stuff!

I use Maguiar's Ultimate twicw a year and Maguiar's Detailer spray after each wash. I use the Blue Coral Car Wash soap.

I use Maguire Premium Marine Wax. Use two buffers, one to remove wax and a second to Polish it out. Looks awesome and we apply it once each year.
