How long have you been full timing? I would like to see what the "average" seems to be.

Yep..."newbies" is reserved for just starting out. You're now officially and "oldbie" or seasoned veteran! You passed the course.

Welcome to the forum.

"newbies " has never been defined, but I think that 2 years is enough to erase the "newbie" sign.

Maybe "oldbie?" :B

Happy Camping.

My two year anniversary was 3 days ago, so glad I decided to "retire" early and go now. ๐Ÿ™‚

You are right. My apologies to the OP.

Apology accepted. I helped encourage that.

I used the words "arithmetic mean" so that any poster knew the method I was using, because I was sure someone would ask!!!

Sum divided by the number count of entries.

"In mathematics and statistics, the arithmetic mean (pronunciation: /?รฆr???m?t?k ?mi?n/), or simply the mean or average when the context is clear, is the sum of a collection of numbers divided by the number of numbers in the collection" Wiki (Red color added)

Not trying to be scientific, just get a rough feel for long the majority of full time travelers do so.

Why? For my own knowledge base.

As a full timer, I wonder : How Long is typical? How many more years can I expect?

Please keep the numbers coming.

So far the average is: 9.13 years based upon 26 responses.

Please explain. Arithmetic mean for the purposes of this forum seems adequate. I don't see any reason to have a statistics lesson over it.
