Well our adventure starts tomorrow, our first night will have to spent at the local Walmart, with a forecast high of 34f and overnite temps dropping to the mid teens.:(
That should be a good test for the new coach. We're off to the Drumheller, Alberta on Wednesday May 1 when the campgrounds open, at least the temps are suppose to warm up into the 60s for the rest of the week.
Oh well it should be a memorable start to our new lifestyle:)

We leased the house for 8 months and hit the road July 1st. We should know if we can handle full time by then. Looking forward to it

Once again thanks everyone, after the first 10 nights we have been through temps ranginging from 10 above to the high 80s.
We're still working on getting everything sorted out, but so far it's been great other than a couple of nights with some crazy windstorms

Thanks for the well wishes everyone, our first night in the coach was super comfortable, the temps did drop to the mid teens, and the gennie got a bit of a workout but it was all good.

Congratulations! Just remember to take your time traveling as this life style is more about the journey than the destination. When we first went FT it took us a while to stop thinking we had to go back home, or go back to our starting point. The freedom from the rat race and all the "stuff" you had to deal with when you had a house is great. It's nice to realize you have a much simpler life style and therefore lower stress. The next time you walk into a Home Depot or Lowes take a look around and notice all the stuff you don't need anymore.
Live Long and Prosper.

Home is where we park it.

Enjoy!

I think you will find, with a little prep, those cold nights are not so bad.

Great! We are scheduled to start May 30th when we pass papers on our stick house. We have to stay about 2 weeks in this area to finish some commitments and figure out what we will do after that. The 5er is mostly loaded now. Still have to get rid of some items and what we will keep for when we have to buy another home is going to my daughters. Have to hire a dumpster too.
