Advice on getting a class C realigned near NYC

My boyfriend and I just bought a 2003 Ford Shasta and we need to get the front end realigned. Does anyone have any advice on a great place near NYC? Or places to avoid? Or horror stories?

We're brand new! Only had the RV for 24 hours!

X-2, most Tire places, and RV dealers won't the capabilities to do something that big, I took mine to a Commercial Ford Truck Dealer.

Be aware that the Ford specified caster range is about +1.5 to +7.5 degrees. Some alignment techs will want to set the caster at mid range instead of above +5 degrees for best highway driving.

I used a truck alignment shop in the Hackensack area, right off of Route 80. Excellent job for a fair price.

Not being from that area I can't help with a service location but I would advise you to try to have it fully loaded water/gas, camping gear, etc. when you get it aligned.

Your Class C is nothing more than a truck. Just go to any truck dealership or truck repair in your town. There is NO need to go to an RV specific shop.

Several of us have bought parts from SD Truck Springs on Long Island near Hauppage and Smithtown. I don't think they DO alignments, but might be able to recommend somebody.

Not sure what is close to NYC. But Fleet Pride did a good alignment on my MH when it needed an alignment.
