High pitched sound/alarm?

HI. I have a 2014 Winnebago Sightseer and have just begun noticing an intermittent somewhat high pitch noise/alarm coming from what I think is the coach. If I'm outside, it seems like it's from somewhere else, but if I'm inside, it sounds pretty local. It's not like a smoke detector alarm that you'd have in your house. More like a civil defense alert that comes on the TV. Alarm lasts less than 10 seconds and goes off with no rhyme or reason...Could go off twice in 3 minutes, and then not again for 10 minutes...I've checked propane and shut it off as a just in case....Ideas? THANKS

Could it be an issue with the jacks? I get an alarm when the jack sensor loses connection. I hot store and it goes away.

In the Winnebago Era there is a rear entertainment system next to the bed. One time the DW managed to turn on the alarm. Each day we'd be driving, and at some point just after noon, we'd notice the DVD was playing in the back! It actually took several days before we figured out what that one was.

Did someone put one of those battery operated water alarms somewhere? They are a high pitched shrill sound.

The weather radio alarm sounds like a civil defense alarm. That was a good suggestion. We had a kitchen timer that was in the upper cabinet. That drove us crazy till we found it.

Are you running tire pressure alarms on your tires? We have had those go off at odd times. Upon investigating, we found the wireless signal can be interfered with by other electronics.

Just thoughts.

Probably not but I had an alarm go off at least once a week it took me about 4 weeks to figure out it was the weather radio alert test coming from the CB.

I felt a little dumb after I figured it out.

I have a built in clock next to the bed in my motorhome. Happens to have an alarm on it. For some reason, sometime after I turn on the furnace, it begins to sound its alarm. Must be some crossed wires. If you have a built in clock you might want to check that.

Some time ago, my LP detector sounded an intermittent alarm when my coach batteries were going bad. That smell, not just propane smell, can set off the LP detector.

Guess I would try to get my ear to any of the detectors (smoke, LP, carbon monoxide) or built in clock if it exists, as soon as you hear the sound.

It's a long shot but....do you have an alarm clock in a cupboard or drawer by chance ?? I had a heck of a time figuring out what that dang noise was in our rig awhile back. Found the darn alarm clock beside the bed in a cupboard had been going off like you hit a snooze button. :S
