For a diesel pusher since you already have your tow bar M&G
If you had not already gotten your tow bar Ready Brake (With the matching tow bar)
For MH's w/o air brakes US-Gear unified brake decelerator
Those are my top suggestions,, Next is
All the other INSTALLED systems that are BOLTED into the vehicle.
And on my NON recommended list are things like Even Brake, Brake Buddy, and so on where you put a box in the driver's seat and it pushes the pedal.
Too easy to screw up if you are in a hurry or even to just say "Forget it" and regret later.

For years I did not have the battery charge wire, didn't disconnect the fuse and never had any battery problems.CA Traveler wrote:Thanks for the info! I think I'm going with this set up on my CRV and I'm also going to run a live battery wire back to the toad!
I upgraded from a box brake to the Roadmaster Invsibrake. Absolutely nothing to do - no switches, cables, air lines or anything else. A light on the MH dash indicates the brake is activated.
There are a variety of braking systems and the above recommendations are all good.

From a Brake Buddy owner.....do NOT buy one of them!
Buy one of the automatic braking systems.
If you camp more than a couple times a year shoving that BB in and out of your Toad every time you use it gets REAL old and hard on the back.
My Toad was a Tracker and I had to just about get on my hands and knees to get that Brake Buddy in, adjusted, clamped on, tested etc.

My Brake Buddy worked great too, but my back didn't! You must be in batter shape than me or a whole lot shorter! :B:B
