We have a 2019 winnebago vista VE 29ft. I'm looking for sewer hose that fits thru the opening. The ends of my camco hose don't fit thru the opening from the waste outlet. I,m try find one that would work.

If you had a Winnebago with the idiotic small hole for the sewer hose you would understand the problem. The bottom of the wet bay has a hole with a rotating cover plate, that the sewer hose, after attaching one end to the waste drain outlet, goes through to exit the wet bay and then to the sewer dump inlet. The hole molded into the bottom of the wet bay is too small for the typical fittings attached to the end of the sewer hose to pass through.

Most of us Winnebago people have tried various methods of working around this. Some take the fitting off to pass the hose through the hole, then reattach it, but that gets old pretty fast. I used my Dremil to enlarge the hole, but still RhinoFlex connectors would not pass through it. For a while I just didn't use the hole let the hose dangle out the open wet bay door. I found the Thetford Titan on sale and its fittings will pass through the hole. Problem solved for me, but you would think after years of this Winnebago would change the design.

Exactly. I took a wood rasp with some pretty aggressive teeth and filed/rasped the opening below the swivel plate to where it will allow the fitting on the stinky slinky to go through.

Blueline sewer hose

I use all Blueline sewer hose. Tried the Rhino stuff but the ends were too big to fit in my sewer hose storing area.

Used Blueline for maybe 10 years & it performed flawlessly. Birds poked holes in the slinky on a trip & I disposed of & purchased another premium brand. Wonderful until I went to break camp & store new brand in my built in storage door & I remembered why I loved the Blueline. :S

I have had 3 different hoses over the years none fit through the hole in the wet bay. On all 3 hoses I cut the dog ear/tabs off the fitting. Then fitting and hose pass though the hole. For me it is easy enough to twist the fitting on and off without these tabs.

storing your hose in the bumper or other "storage tube thinghy" usually causes premature wear due to friction on hose as driving down the road. store it in a plastic covered bin and it will last a lot longer.

Three things
1: The hose likely will fit through the hole. HOWEVER on some RV's the "nozzle" (the male connector) can swivel or otherwise move a bit for better alignment.

2: I too have a Titan Hose (Mentioned above thanks for saving me the typing) and it is very nice. I am not currently using it as I use the model it replaced, slightly modified.

3: IF you have problems reacing in and removing the cap. (or replacing it) and'or twisting the hose on/off (The Titan has a feature to make that easier) A "Slip joint pliars" Type oil filter wrench is the fix.. I've been doing it that way for about a month now and every time I pull the cap off I kick myself for not figuring it out sooner. A forum member ask a question that got me thinking and YES I figured out the answer.

Another thing that may help.. A short CLEAR extension.. Mine is 5 inches. Brings the hose fitting to just BELOW the RV.

You would think after 4 days the OP would chime in with a better explanation of the problem.

Sewer Solution. We have a clearance issue too. Got tired of walking #2 down the stinky slinky.

Yes it uses water to move the waste. It will back flush too. But it's a more compact system and we've never had a failure in 3 years. Similar to a macerator but no electricity needed.

X2 on the macerator system. It's a couple hundred dollars and you'll never touch the stinky slinky again and will have many more options for dumping. Ideally, at home rather than waiting in line on Sunday afternoon in the campground.

I had though about the Blue Line hose with the slip connections, but, the movie RV kept coming to mind......... Knowing how things happen, I decided against it.

Have been using them for 15 years and 40 states, no problem yet.

Our Landau came with an oddball labyrinth hose exit that was a pain to connect on the inside, and used almost 2' of hose to reach the outside. I fixed it with a new exit opening, a Valterra twist-on "master" valve, and a 45° clear elbow, to bring the connection to the outside where it's very convenient to hook up the hose.

Our hose doesn't fit though the hole in the wetbay either. It is a pain, but we remove the end each time to feed the hose through to make do.

Our coach has a hole thru the bottom of the water bay. After you feed the hose up thru that hole (or down thru depending on where you start) there is a bib that fits there. You then connect the hose to the outlet. That is probably the hole he is talking about.
