I have a picture someplace of the carnage. It looked like dripping ice cream. I couldnโt believe the condition of them when I was working on it. Iโll see if I can find the pics.
I'd describe it closer to black candle wax running down the mounts.

What is the typical mileage that these bushing need to be replaced?
I think it's more of a time measurement rather than miles. My coach had 18,000 miles and was 5 years old and I had empty brackets when I brought the coach home. The Ford originals more or less melted. Wish I had taken a picture.

This guy has an excellent reputation and I believe he is on this board. Anyway here is his eBay link. Also when you replace them be sure you use some Blue Locktite on the bolts. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-F53-Class-A-Motorhome-FRONT-REAR-Sway-Bar-Bushings-1990-1997/272263864...
