And with the 3 valve engine you get the spark plug nightmare!
Ummm..Wrong.
Ford actually corrected the 'spark plug nightmare' (IIRC by adding more threads in the head) long before the 3 valve heads ever came out.
Its amazing, all the 'misinformation' that gets unknowingly spread sometimes.

Actually there were 2 different problems with sparkplugs in the V10. The first and some of the second generation heads had only 4 threads to hold the plugs in place. Consequently some had problems with sparkplugs being blown out of the heads.
Some of the early 3rd generation engines had a problem with plugs breaking off when attempting to remove them. Sometimes when they got stuck over zealous mechanics just kept trying to turn them until thy broke in half. Ford published a specific method to be used when removing the plugs and a method to properly install them so they weren't over torqued.

It was 2006. But a motorhome could be built on a 2005 chassis and be titled 2006. Double check the Vin number to make sure it is 362 HP vs 310. Free Vin decoders can be search on the internet.

Pistons are different also. PCM and calibration too. Not just a head change.
Ummmmmmm, now wonder what a late model crate engine cost is, installed vs a coach trade up?

Here's something I have been pondering, I have the 275hp version and it ain't so bad but what if I were to buy a set of 3 valve heads and install them? I gotta wonder what else is needed for a boost in hp....
You can swap in the 310 HP "P.I." heads. You cannot swap in the 3-valve heads. Too much is different. It would be easier to add a turbo two.
