Went after the Alcoa's this week, before rain, as they were all mainly stained with running mark's and water spotting etc, cleaner & polish would not touch it, used Never-Dull metal cleaner/polish, very pleased and surprised at the outcome, then put a coat of Protect-all on them to avoid rain spots that night.
Then pulled out the bent Antenna gear shaft from above, pretty easy, straightened it, put it back good spray of Silicone and it works like new.
Had some rain water in a trough just inside of windshield, so checked the 5 marker lights on the roof, all were showing signs of water/condensation under lens cap, removed, cleaned up ground contacts, replaced with caulk seal, need to go back and remove complete light assembles to clean and recaulk their seating aswell, only 3 years old, but orig caulk is brittle. Arizon sun???
Power Gear Auto leveling, the Jack's Down light stays on after retracting the jacks, researched on Forum & Power Gear, instructed to ck oil level, system needed about 2/3 quart of trans fluid in vertical reservoir, now she works!
Found the proper RCA dual red/white jacks/to single pin jack to Ipod, great having 2,500 tunes to selectively listen to when coasting down the road. Much better than a 10 disc player.
Well, that's it for now, we'll see what tomorrow brings, I keep digging and fine tuning every system and detail, door entry handle may have a courtesy light which does not work, sounds easy enough to do. Ha, really there aren't any small projects are there?
Edouard.
