I see the other types of RV's having this type of thread. I did a search and could not find one here. 🙂

Yesterday, I drove mine to work to "excercise" it. I have driven it to work twice in the two weeks I have owned it.

In the two years I owned my Class C, I drove it to work ZERO times. :E

Installed new(reconditioned)12 volt 19" RCA LCD/DVD combo tv in my 96 Saratoga. I also bought an auxiliary speaker for it. Thhhepeaker is a Vivitar mini rechargeable speaker designed for a cell phone. It sounds much better than the TV'S speakers and was only $9.00 at Wal-Mart. The TV was only $132.00 delivered. It is sure hard to find AC/DC TV'S. I could have gone to camping world but the Jensen equivalent is $400.

Pam thought it would be appropriate that we have a blessing for our new home on wheels. Rev. Mariana Gronick from St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan did the honors. Several neighbors and parishioners participated.

We figured out that some brand new Coleman chairs-in-a-bag we bought at Camping World *WILL* fit under the bed, even though they're substantially taller than the super-uncomfortable and heavier ARCO freebies we practically had to tip ourselves over in to get out of.

Went over to my storage building and found the propane alarm beeping so I pulled the fuse until spring.

Just changed the Stay-dry container and did a visual check of the interior and exterior. It has been sitting for a week since we came back from Busch Gardens where we enjoyed all the Christmas decorations. Thinking of putting our class B up for sale next month and not too sure that is what we will do since we love it and it is in such excellent shape. We have replaced the dvd player with a blue-ray, added a rear camera that shows in our RV GPS, new tires, new LP detector, (replace avery 5 years according to specs.) added a Versa-Haul and a Kymco Scooter. Such a difficult decision. New Year, New unit. Maybe. See next year what it will bring.

Went for a four-day camp 15 NOV in 20F and forgot a few soft side package food items in the overhead slider storage. :S
Now on a small critter hunt and purge :E .

Then a complete wipe down and washing of the bedding. Lesson learned

Friday, I gave it a good wash and filled up the tank. Saturday, I drove the B to Circleville, Ohio (60 miles) and plugged in at my sisters house to stay over night. (Attended the Pumpkin Show)

Last night, I ordered this for the class b and for home emergencies. I used to have one with my old 1976 Class C.

A great deal at Tractor Supply. I just purchased one last night. After the 15% discount (which expires tomorrow), I ended up getting it for $254 before taxes and 5 dollar shipping! I also bought the wheel kit.

Today I took our Class B Winnebago ERA to Camping World in Chichester NH for the free Good Sam's 22 point inspection. I couldn't find any info in advance on exactly what was covered so I'm including it here in case anyone else wants to take advantage of the service. They check lights, belts, hoses, seals, and tire pressure. The timing of the appointment was ironic - last night as we returned home from a trip we found that neither headlamp was operational and the dashboard lightbulb display indicator was on. We traveled on our high beams. I didn't mention the problem to the service writer at CW as I was curious as to the quality of the 'free' service. Guess what? The ERA passed with flying colors. The tech didn't notice the display indicator nor that neither headlamp lit. The service manager was apologetic when it was brought to his attention and promptly took the initiative to replace the bulbs at no charge. The 'free' service and free bulbs took 3 1/2 hours (2 hours to get the bulbs and install them). The service mgr had no response to my inquiry as to what level of service I could expect was used to do the remaining 20 points of the inspection.

Hi Folks,

Yesterday (Thursday), Sheila and I went out to buy a few things for our 2002 Roadtrek 190V. Purchased a plug assembly to plug in all our electronic toys, 2 phones, 1 pad, and 1 old GPS. (Galaxy Pad has a better GPS in it so will be the GPS of the future.) Fits in the slot below the radio. We also purchased a pad holder which will fit on the radio slot above the driver seat. Need to add a few things so it will not shake loose. Word of advice. NEVER leave things plugged in when the engine is not running. I left our GPS plugged in by mistake. Killed the battery.

We also went over the RV in preparation of going to a Roadtrek Rally in Raymond NH, leaving on early Monday morning. (Sheila will be awoken in the house and led to the RV in the dark and will sack out until we get to McDonalds for breakfast sandwiches and cheap coffee.) Then off to the "peeper country."

This is the first time we have seen the "peeper country" in 20 years in that we owned and ran an Inn on Nantucket for 20 years. Leaves on Nantucket go from green to brown overnight.

Heapie.

ps. In my past, I taught at Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT for three years. I had the greatest show of color out side my office and apartment windows. Can't beat it. Can't wait to see it again

For the last 5 days I have been waxing and detailing it from bumper to bumper, only have the windows left to do. Next month I'll winterize, top off the batteries, etc. and put it to sleep.

Dropped the generator and put in new carburetor. Put it back together and it fired right up , ran beautifully for 4 minutes then died. My brother in law(mechanic) determined it wasn't getting fuel. I checked gas gauge and saw there was a tick over 1/4 of a tank. Drove down to gas station and filled it up. Drove home and tried it again. Still no fuel. Bro in law checked fuel lines and determined it was sucking air. Cut off end of hose, tightened it up and she fired right up. Hallelujah!!!!.I just need the roof air fixed and she's ready for showbiz. Well maybe some touch up to the trim paint also for her close-up Mr DeMille.
