Anyone use LogMeIn or other remote access programs?

I've been using LogMeIn free for quite a few years to have remote access to my work, home, and even my 84yr.old Dad's computer (ya I need to get on there and fix things pretty often 🙂 )
Looks like their free version is going away 😞 & I don't need it bad enough to have to pay for it.
Just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions?

Ok, after reading a bit more of their site, I see ShowMyPC just a shell for VNC, which I have used in the past, so I'll stick with TeamViewer.

Teamviewer for my personal use. Has iPhone app and is compatible with Linux. Works well to check my USB camera to see what the cat is doing.

teamviewer. i use it to maintain 10-15 family pc's for them. Used to have logmein until it was no longer free.

I didn't see any free option on their site. Did I miss it? The free TeamViewer has worked well for me in helping multiple people, but I'm always open to something better coming along.

Whatever remote desktop(RDP) app you use, make sure to keep it updated! Hackers often use unpatched RDP to exploit vulnerabilities that could allow access into one's system.

Remote desktop is now built in to the Chrome browser for free. Even access from your android tablet.

I still use LogMeIn as they decided not to boot off users that paid for the Ignition and Android apps. At least not yet.
