I was just wondering what some of you have done regarding wiring two TVs with one BluRay player. Some time ago we bought a BluRay player for the S&B and now have many BluRay discs and want to take some with us when we travel. I bought a player and it will reside in the cabinet over the drivers chair along with the old screw on cable type distribution box.
Sometimes we or the DGKs will be in back and I could buy another player or swap the existing one to the back but when we all want to watch the same movie but on two different TVs it becomes a pain. I've ordered a 35' HDMI cable and have researched the feasibility but just wondered how others may have handled this problem. I will run the cable from the front to the back through the overhead cabinets with there being only one spot where there are no cabinets and that is over the door. I can hide it well enough and it will be a pretty easy project.
Also I wonder how it will be handled in new rigs in 2015 and forward.
We did look at the FR3 and they used composite wiring but only have it for one set.
I should have included the fact that I have ordered a HDMI splitter/amp also.
