Don't stay at all seasons rv park in Wichita, the rest rooms suck and are hard to get in too. and if you use a mat beside your camper bigger than 3 x 5 he will give you a nasty note on you door. and all they have is dirt and gravel. i rate it as a 2.

I've stayed at more than one rv resort that specifically asks campers not to place large mats on the grass as it kills it. Seems a fair request if it's up front.

Thanks. I'll include it in our little book for closer look see.
Mats are bad news to grass. The seasonal Folks and some others don't care. Everytime we pull into our favorite campground the area on the right side of coach is a mud/sand/cigarette butt and debris mess.
First order of business is to rake and then use the hose to Next time, dampen the dirt and grass remains. Next time, if we stay long enough going to put out straw around the coach and a little seed underneath. The straw will stop the plash of the mud and looks better than dirt, after clearing with Folks at office.

I've even considered trying to find a small wood pallet to put at the door with the mat on top.
Even considered discussing it with Owner about reserving the few sites for special treatment to keep the grass intact for the Few that use them.
Concrete pads or patios are especially nice because it keep most people from turning the sites into mud pits. I hate taking my shoes off and manuvering around the mud and cleaning the mud and grit splash on the lower half of the MH and tires.

Pulled into that place one night and pulled right on out. It did not meet "my" standards.

Hi,
I have not actually seen that written rule in my travels but I do know that a solid mat will kill grass. But, then again you said it was dirt and gravel. Maybe they just post that rule for everyone to make sure the tent sites do not become bare dirt. ??
