bright light for range hood?

We are looking for a way to brighten up under the range hood.

Is there an led light that is brighter than the original?

Ours is a 12 watt bulb. Push in type, I think it is 921

We do not boon dock so led is not required from a power standpoint, but the fixture says 14 watt max so I don't think another regular 921 will change things.

suggestions appreciated

I replaced the original 921 bulb with a 24 5050 LED bright white panel light that I bought on eBay. DW likes it.

I used the same thing Off Pavement uses, I went with warm white and it has given a softer brighter light.

I ordered a few sample LED panels and decided on warm white for the interior lighting. One of the samples was a bright white 48-5050 panel which got installed in the hood fan. Lots more light than the 921 bulb.

How about a self adhesive led light strip inside the hood?

I replaced ours with LED bulbs that are not only brighter, they do not get hot, and use much less power. Bought them at local RV store. The ones I got are flat panels.
