I would like to find a campground guide for the state of Florida only that contains all private, state, county, city and military campgrounds. NO NOT the GS book because it does not list all the parks. It mainly lists advertisers parks and non advertiser parks are just a side note if at all. plus the book is just too big and bulky....

Try this simply type in the state you're looking for, zoom in and follow the legend and find what you're after, read the reviews and go.
Our 2351D Phoenix Cruiser, Jack, has turned us from campers into RVers and loving it!

I'm another who uses the Allstays app. Before smart phones, I actually build a "step" between the front seats of our Class C to hold that enormous GS campground guide.

I don't know of any single listing that has a complete list for any given local. I usually end up using Allstays and/or rvparkreviews plus the web sites for operators of the types of locations I am wanting to visit, ie National Park Service, Corp of Engineer, state parks, etc.

Rvpark reviews does NOT list all the CG's available. Doesn't even come close.

I too threw the woodalls GS book out years ago. What a worthless CG book. Same thing only GS sites are listed. And a lot of outdated info.

When I went full time I found the best way to find CG's is to google them in the town you want to stay at.

Google the State and National parks where you want to stay. State and National Parks have the "best' websites. You couldn't ask for more correct and informational info that these sites offer.

I also found the app "Oh Ranger" to be very useful. You are able to search and dial in just what you want the CG to offer.

I was just looking on Campendium for that (actually, I was looking for boondocking areas).

Otherwise, I rely on RVParkReviews for campgrounds.

Good luck and post back what you find!

If you have internet access, Allstays.com or the Allstays app (for phone) has all of that. Use it all the time and have never been disappointed.
