CT is always out of money. They put out the press release saying that they'll be closing some state run entity at least 3 times a year.

The guy I bought my Sahara from was so sick of CT that he was selling everything and moving to the Dominican Republic. Good for me, bad for Connecticut. He's not an isolated case. Businesses are also relocating.

How about "west bound' can you get off at EX2

You can get off on Saw Mill Rd, take a left and get on east bound. The problem will be getting back on west bound. You'd have to go back to exit 4. If you plug it into google map, using "Connecticut Welcome Center" you'll see what I mean. During rush hour this area is pretty busy.

Thanks, I'll check that out.
also have to see if they are open.

Try a "clicky". It will help you get the respect you deserve:W

Yes I saw that one also. But they want you out at dawn for the commuters. We will only have about 200 miles left on our trip so I don't want to have to get up that early and then not be able to check in.

According to Free Campsites, there is also a park & ride lot a couple of exits away (probably 8 or 9) that also allows overnights and has no trucks.

Never heard of it being open for camping or overnighting, but then it's close to home so I wouldn't need it for such anyway. They did/do have a dump station. The last time I stopped there the parking area was under construction of some sort. There is a truck/RV parking area just past the restroom building.
