So I did this test at 7600 ft at 80 degrees with a 13.5K AC with a Honda 2200 watt (not VA) and it started it with no problem in ECO mode with Micro Air easy start. Density altitude comes in around 10760ft.

Hi,
I'd buy the remote electric start unit over something I have to pull a cord on every time. So I agree with naturist.
Let's take the 2200 VA (not watts) unit up to 10,000 feet and see if it still starts the roof air.SpeakEasy wrote:naturist wrote:
And absolutely do not buy a 2,000 watt unit if you want to run an AC. Get one in the 3,000 class.
It amazes me that someone would make such a blanket statement. Wow. Just wow.
Everyone is different.
I bought a 2200-watt generator and a Micro-Air Easy Start. Works just fine, and cost a lot less overall than a 3000-watt generator.

Now that's a price that can't be beat! Except for their pricing, Yamaha and Honda are far ahead of the others. IMHO.
