How many would like to see a bidet offered as an option in motorhomes and campers?

Before you laugh yourself sick listen to the positives.

These can be added to the existing toilet. See https://www.bidetsplus.com/bio-bidet-bb-2000-bliss.html

We use one at home. It partically eliminates the use of toilet paper. It is very sanitary to use. Often the toilet in campers is cramped making use difficult. The bidet would add water rather than paper to the black water tank result being more liquid than solids = cleaner and more thorough dumping of the black tank. Many problems people have with black tanks is due to putting way more solids down than liquid. Without sufficient liquid you end up with the dreaded turd pile that can be difficult to wash away. They also offer the added value of a heated seat. Tell me that wouldn't be welcome some mornings.

So, what do you all think?

Yeeewwwww! That is one ugly image, in my mind.
I better not park where they have cell service. ๐Ÿ™‚

It's too far from the bathroom and the neighbors stare.

All the neighbors point and giggle. Then all the cell phones come out and the next thing you know you get 250k hits on youtube and facebook. Your 15 minutes of fame...

Very enlightening discussion about an area that doesn't get much light. Usually.

Just make sure the leaves are not poison ivy.

BTW every Dometic gravity flush toilet is available with a sprayer.

Not sure there would be room for a separate fixture.

This is not a joke. Years ago we met a full-timing couple in a cargo van. Her only requirement was that he install a bidet. He did. ๐Ÿ™‚

No mirror? Guess you still need paper for a test wipe. Or your pal can take a peek.

That's what the rug on the floor is for. Works for the cat.

I thought that was what the CAT was for.

Here's a How To. Complete with illustrations. :B

It would be great for someone with Chron's or the like.

And since it looks like this thread is taking a turn for the worse, here's the Bristol Stool Chart.
Now that was the best For-Dummies instructions I have ever seen! Some great highlights:
Standalone: These bidets are separate fixtures which usually sit right next to the toilet. Sometimes, however, you'll find them across the room, or down the hall.(2) Either way, you will need to use the toilet, then stand up and move over to the bidet.
So if there is no room in your RV bathroom, you could always remove the jacknife sofa and install it in its place - be sure not to get tangled up in your pants that are around your ankles!

Drinking from a bidet is not recommended. The stream can ricochet off a soiled area and become contaminated.
Why? According to posters on RV.Net, it's my poop - it can't make me sick! Right? Well, right???

Some people use bidets to bathe babies. This should not be done unless this is the sole use for the bidet
This is wrong in so many ways....

Hand held bidet. Works like a charm. Easy to install in home and RV.

that link also included a lighted and scented toilet seat for $87.75.
free radical reminds me of a biffy I sat on in France. -when ever the seat was depressed a bit it started flushing. very disconcerting, and it is difficult to use one without putting weight on the seat. ๐Ÿ™‚
